Qian-Yun Zhang, MD, PhD is a hematopathologist with the Department of Pathology at University of New Mexico. Dr. Zhang received her MD from the West China University of Medical Sciences in Chengdu, Sichuan, P.R. China, and holds a doctorate in microbial genetics from the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Sussex in Brighton, United Kingdom. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the American Society of Hematology and the Society for Hematopathology. Dr. Zhang’s special interests include hematopathology, chronic lymphoproliferative disorders, and laboratory medicine management/leadership.
