Dr. Wilson is a Professor of Pathology at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Health Sciences Center and Director of Flow Cytometry at TriCore Reference Laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her prior position was Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Wilson received a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MD from UNM. She trained in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology at UNM, followed by a 2-year Hematopathology fellowship at the City of Hope National Medical Center, Duarte, CA.
Dr. Wilson has served on multiple committees for the American Society of Clinical Pathology and the College of American Pathologists (CAP). She is currently a member of the CAP Curriculum Committee. Her publications, teaching activities, and clinical responsibilities cover a broad spectrum of hematopathology topics.
