Dr. Tickoo graduated from the Medical College in Kashmir, India, and did his residencies in Pathology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India and Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI. After the second residency in Detroit, 3 fellowships in Surgical Oncological Pathology, Experimental and Gastrointestinal Pathology, and Geniurinary Pathology followed at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York. He joined Weill Cornell Medical College in New York as Assistant Professor in 2000, was promoted to Associate Professor in 2003, moved back to his current institution in 2005, and has been a full Attending Pathologist there since 2009.
