Dr. Charles “Matt” Quick is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. A graduate of UAMS medical school, Dr. Quick did his anatomic and clinical pathology residencies at UAMS. Fellowships in surgical/gastrointestinal pathology at UAMS and women’s and perinatal pathology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital followed. His major area of research interest is centered on gynecologic pathology with emphasis on carcinoma of the endometrium, fallopian tube, and vulva. In addition, he serves as the course director of the medical student pathophysiology course and has an interest in learning theory with an emphasis on team based learning.
