Meenakshi A. Nandedkar completed her residency training in pathology at a combined Residency program of George Washington University and Washington Veterans Hospital in Washington D.C. after finishing a year of Rotating Internship at Suburban Hospital Bethesda Maryland. Subsequently she served as an associate Director of a private pathology Laboratory at Doctors Hospital (now Prince Georges county Community Hospital) in Lanham Maryland from 1975 to 1989. She joined the United States Navy in 1989 (after resigning my position at Doctor’s Hospital) and retired in 2009 after 20 years of honorable service. While in Navy, she had the opportunity to sub specialize in Dermatopathology and Hematopathology. Currently she is practicing Hematopathology at Joint Pathology Center in Silver Spring MD, as a staff pathologist since 2010. She has research interest in Lymphoma and Leukemia.
