Dr. Muzzafar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematopathology in the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.  He did his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Chicago, Illinois and his fellowship in Hematopathology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, New York. His area of clinical expertise is neoplastic diseases of the bone marrow and lymphoid tissue. His research interest is centered on myeloproliferative neoplasms and myelodysplastic syndromes.
