Joseph J. Maleszewski, MD, is a Consultant in the Division of Anatomic Pathology with joint appointments in Cardiovascular Diseases and Molecular Genetics. He completed his residency in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He is an Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and the medical director of the hospital autopsy service. His main areas of clinical and research interests include neoplastic heart disease as well as the genetics and proteomics of cardiomyopathies and aortic disease.
