Aya Kamaya, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology, at Stanford University School of Medicine. Since 2007 she has been Associate Fellowship Director of the Body Imaging Fellowship.
Dr. Kamaya studied at Dartmouth College Engineering Sciences, and graduated with an MD from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Michigan and a fellowship at Stanford in 2005.
Dr. Kamaya specializes in gynecologic imaging, hepatobiliary and pancreatic imaging, urogenital imaging, thyroid ultrasound, and ultrasound. She has received numerous honors and awards including 2 research awards and 2 Stanford "Teacher of the Year" awards.
