Dennis M. Frisman, MD has joined the growing Amirsys team of leading pathology experts as the Associate Medical Editor to lead the Special Stains Author Team. Dr. Frisman will also serve on the Amirsys Surgical Pathology Strategic Planning Committee. Dr. Frisman is the founder of the ImmunoQuery immunohistochemistry database query system utilized by 29,000 pathologists worldwide. He is currently a senior pathologist at the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California. Dr. Frisman has received numerous awards, including the prestigious College of American Pathologists’ President’s Award for educational service in the field of pathology. Prior to his work at the Eisenhower Medical Center, he obtained expertise in diagnostic immunohistochemistry through NIH pre- and post-doctoral fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital and served three years as Chief of Immunopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C.
