David P. Frishberg, MD is the Vice Chair and Executive Director of Anatomic Pathology, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Following receipt of his MD degree from George Washington University, Dr. Frishberg completed an internship in General Surgery, followed by a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, both at Letterman Army Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.  His experience spans military, private practice, and academic settings. He is past lead editor of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Performance Improvement Program in Surgical Pathology, past vice chair of the CAP Cancer Committee, and lead author on the most recent CAP checklists for reporting cutaneous melanoma, merkel cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.
