Cassarino, David S., MD, PhD

Dr. Cassarino did his medical school and PhD training at the University of Virginia, and his pathology residency training at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. He went on to complete a Dermatopathology Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, under Dr. Ronald Barr. He then worked as an attending physician at Stanford University for 3 years before moving to UCLA for over 2 years. He has published numerous papers and book chapters on cutaneous pathology, especially in the realm of cutaneous neoplasia. He is also actively engaged in the teaching of medical students and dermatology residents as well as gives lectures on Dermatopathology at many national meetings.
