Dr. Nancy Caraway is a Professor in the Department of Pathology, Section of Cytopathology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. During her 23-year academic career, she has published over 65 articles and 3 book chapters in cytopathology. In 2006, the lymph node chapter in Koss’ Diagnostic Cytology was published, which she coauthored. She has given national and international workshops and lectures on diagnosing lymphoproliferative disorders by fine-needle aspiration using a multiparameter approach and urine cytology using ancillary studies. Dr. Caraway received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and did her pathology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. This was followed by a cytopathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.  Areas of interest include the utility of ancillary studies in diagnosing lymphomas by FNA and urine cytology.
