Dr. Francisco Bravo is an Associate Professor of Pathology at the Facultad de Medicina, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, in Lima, Peru. He is also an attending pathologist at the pathology service, Hospital Nacional Cayetano Heredia and at the University Dermatopathology Laboratory, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. At the same time, he is in private practice in clinical dermatology and dermatopathology in Lima. A graduate of Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Dr. Bravo did his internal medicine residency at the Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. He completed  his dermatology residency at the University of California Davis, Sacramento, California and a one year fellowship in dermatopathology at New York University. His main interest  in academic medicine is in the field of infectious and tropical diseases, including clinical and pathological aspects. He is an author of several articles and book chapters in those particular subjects. He also has several publications in the field of  viral induced lymphomas.
