Dr. Anton received her MD degree in 1994 from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She then completed a pathology residency and fellowships in surgical pathology and cytopathology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Anton joined the faculty at Baylor in 2000 as an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology. She received her faculty appointment at the Weill Cornell Medical College in 2005. Dr. Anton is a general surgical pathologist with subspecialty certification in cytopathology. She is the Associate Director of the Cytopathology Laboratory at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
