Roshini Sarah Abraham is presently a consultant (tenured faculty) in the Division of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology, Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.  She is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Laboratory Medicine and Pathology in the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, and also the Director of the Cellular and Molecular Immunology Laboratory within the Clinical Immunology Laboratories in the Department of Lab Medicine and Pathology as well as the Director of the Jeffrey Modell Foundation for Primary Immunodeficiencies Diagnostic and Research Center at the Mayo Clinic. She received her PhD in Immunology in 1996, and subsequently, obtained 6 years of postdoctoral training in Basic Immunology and Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.  In 2002, she joined the faculty in the Division of Hematology, Department of Medicine, Mayo Clinic with a joint appointment in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. Her clinical and research efforts are presently in the area of primary immunodeficiencies, newborn screening for severe combined immunodeficiencies, and transplant immunology. She became a Diplomat of the ABMLI (American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology) in 2007 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (FAAAAI) in 2010.
